AMTRAK, Project Management Oversight Consultant Services Contract
The American Recovery and Reinvestment Act (ARRA) of 2009 included an appropriation of $1.3 billion to enable the Secretary of Transportation to provide grants to Amtrak to cover expenditures for repair, rehabilitation, or upgrade of railroad assets or infrastructure; life safety capital improvements; and capital improvements that expand passenger rail capacity, including the rehabilitation of rolling stock.
AMTRAK projects funded by the Recovery Act span the entire United States.
LS Gallegos as a sub consultant to the prime Project Management Oversight Consultant is providing on-site team in AMTRAK’s Philadelphia Project Office to support:
- Document control
- Information technology systems design and implementation efforts
